Just curious if any of you guys have purchased Sonnon's dvds. I have to tell you, I bought both "Flowfit" and just recently "Forward
Pressure". I respect what he's trying to do, the badly needed injection of masculinity into Western yoga. God knows every yoga dvd I buy has a bit
of a "light in the loafers" feel to it, but I have to tell you, these dvds are like $40 with shipping, and I feel like I MAYBE got the money's
worth on the first, BIG MAYBE. And on the second, forget about it. "Fool me once, shame on you...fool me twice, shame on me." Let me save anyone
thinking about this dvd some money...make up a bunch of your own pushups and play some Arabic groove music while you workout. It was a great idea, but the
execution seems to be lacking. Rodney Yee gives me more to chew on for $9 in the fitness section at Target. I'm not saying if you do this stuff it
won't get you in great shape, just that a little more would have kept me from feeling like I just spent $40 on the midway shooting a basketball at a tiny
hoop to walk away with a $3 stuffed animal.
