I was wondering what the board&#39;s thoughts are on periodization are if I am doing mainly bodyweight exercises? My normal routine is usually a 1 leg
squat/deadlift, with or without weight and a type of press, usually a kb/db c&amp;p, and the rest bodyweight stuff, pulls/chins, pushups etc.

I&#39;ve been told that most of the perd. stuff had more to do with steroid cycles, but I could never verify that.

got this with all those pushups.  The natural function of the pec seems to be to bring the arm across the chest, while being less involved in actual pushing
